Xbox One release date revealed
Next-generation games console will go on sale in the UK on November 22
Finally putting the rampant speculation and rumours to rest, Microsoft today confirmed that its £429 next-generation Xbox One console will arrive in 13 initial markets - including the UK - on November 22.
The company also revealed that it has begun full production of the Xbox One this week in preparation for the launch, and it is 'working hard to ensure an additional supply of Xbox One Day One consoles' are now available to pre-order via its retail partners.
Microsoft also claims that its development teams have increased the Xbox One's CPU from 1.6GHz to 1.75GHz, roughly a 10 per cent increase in performance. This is in addition to the 6 per cent increase it announced for the GPU a few weeks ago.
