Denis Villeneuve's Dune to hit 4K Blu-ray on January 31
The sci-fi epic Dune, directed by Blade Runner 2049 helmer Denis Villeneuve, is being prepped for a January 31 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray release by Warner Bros.
The film, which stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac and Josh Brolin (both pictured above), will also be available as a 'premium' video-on-demand title from Monday, December 6, and then to own on digital download on January 17.
Warner Bros has revealed both the 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases will feature Dolby Atmos audio, and the former will include a Dolby Vision HDR grade.
Dune's 4K UHD 'combo pack' release (featuring the film on both 4K and Blu-ray platters) will also contain a slate of extra features including character breakdowns, production design analysis (costuming, sets, sandworms...), and the intriguingly named 'A New Soundscape' featurette.
