MUBI's adds 'library' of curated films to its SVOD platform
Subscription movie streaming platform MUBI has tweaked its model, adding a new 'Library' feature to house a slate of films that previously streamed under its curated 'Now Showing' banner.
The Library is available to MUBI members for no additional cost to their monthly £9.99 subscription. It's currently only accessible through the MUBI website, but will join Android and Apple apps soon.
Content will include standalone films, double-bills, retrospectives and MUBI exclusives, including, says the SVOD provider, 'masterpieces from Jean-Luc Godard, Dario Argento, Satyajit Ray, Chantel Akerman, Federico Fellini and Michelangelo Antonioni among others.'
MUBI's Now Showing section will continue to house a rolling roster of approximately thirty titles, with a new one added each day.
