HBO has confirmed that it will be re-releasing the first two seasons of the hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones in the UK as limited edition Blu-ray Steelbooks on October 26. In addition to all of the content included in the original boxsets, these new releases will also include upgraded Dolby Atmos soundtracks, making the show the first TV series to be released on Blu-ray with the next-gen sound format. The new Steelbooks also feature exclusive cover art designed by the company responsible for the show's iconic opening credits.

Universal Pictures has announced that the action blockbuster Fast & Furious 6 will be hitting DVD, Blu-ray and digital download in the UK on September 16.The studio will also be releasing Fast & Furious: The 6 Movie Collection DVD and Blu-ray boxsets on the same date.

GoodFellas, Martin Scorsese's classic 1990 gangster flick, is returning to cinemas across the UK in January, utilising a new 4K restoration reissued as part of the BFI's season focusing on the director. Screenings will take place on Sunday January 22nd and Thursday January 26th at Vue cinemas, including Basingstoke Festival Place, Bristol Cribbs, Camberley, Cheshire Oaks, Croydon Grants, Dublin, Edinburgh Omni, Exeter, Finchley Road, Islington, Leamington Spa, Leeds Light, Manchester Red, Newcastle UL, Norwich, Oxford, Piccadilly, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Reading, Staines, Star City, Swansea, Watford, Westfield, Westfield Stratford and York. Champagne corks are popping at Hannspree's HQ today following the news that it had ranked second in a report of TV sales in Ireland. According to the report, by industry analyst Meko, only Samsung managed to outperform Hannspree in Ireland during Q3 of 2011, with Philips, Sony and LG all trailing behind.
