On the eve of the release of Batman V Superman, the world’s finest collection of classic DC comic books was unveiled in London, and Home Cinema Choice was invited along for a private viewing. Dubbed The Impossible Collection, it comprises over 1,000 key titles from the Gold and Silver age of DC, and includes not one but two high-quality copies of Action Comics 1 (graded 9.0), the first appearance of Superman, as well as Detective 27, featuring the debut of the Dark Knight.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has revealed that The X-Files: The Event Series is coming to Blu-ray and DVD in the UK on June 13. Screened earlier this year on Channel 5, the six-episode miniseries saw FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) pick up where they left off almost 14 years ago, continuing their investigation into all things weird and wonderful.

1. The Evil Dead (2013)

The 2013 reboot/remake of Sam Raimi's classic horror arrives on BD from StudioCanal armed with a bundle of bonus featurettes and DTS-HD MA 5.1 sonics. Gory as hell, although the version here is the same as the theatrical release, so not the original print that so annoyed the US censors.

Tom Cruise teams up with Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinksi for this 'daylight' sci-fi thriller. Shot on 4K digital cams, and with Life of Pi cinematographer Claudio Miranda on the team, it should look fantastic. Cruise and Kosinksi provide an audio commentary track.
